Our Program Director never disappoints, continually providing our community with a wide array of exciting educational, cultural and social programs for all to enjoy! Acrylic Painting Class Art Show
Southgate at Shrewsbury offers rewarding painting classes for our residents to express their creative talents. Recently residents had an opportunity to proudly display their works of art. It was a wonderful event attended by residents, family and friends.
The Mikado Opera & Wine And Cheese Reception
There wasn’t an open seat in the house as Residents enjoyed The Mikado, a witty and whimsical classic performed by Mass Theatrica. The show featured a cast of some of the finest professional operatic singers in New England!
Olympics at Southgate
Resident teams of both men and women practice months in advance for this friendly competition which tests their speed, agility, creativity and sense of humor! This full day event was loads of fun. An Award Ceremony followed where all teams were recognized for their unfaltering spirit and good sportsmanship.

Upcoming Event
Southgate favorite Jack Craig brings his “Music with Class” educational program to our community. In October he continues the “Story of Swing” series. There is always a captive audience when Jack is in the house!
